Sponsoring Organisation
Securing financing: Funding for the GBV Centre is raised equally in Switzerland and South Africa. As the Förderverein des Dialogs der Weltreligionen, we organise and manage fundraising activities in Switzerland. In South Africa, our partner, the Ring for Peace Cape Trust, raises funds locally.
These combined resources are channelled directly to the GBV Centre in Stellenbosch.
As the Swiss Association – officially “Förderverein des Dialogs der Weltreligionen” – we are responsible for fundraising and donor engagement in Switzerland, supporting the Stellenbosch GBV Centre through transparent governance, strategic partnerships and long-term financial sustainability, in close collaboration with the Ring for Peace Cape Trust.

This structure ensures that philanthropic funding is used efficiently, transparently, and where it creates the greatest impact.
Donor support strengthens coordination, specialist capacity, training, and continuity of care — complementing public funding and reducing systemic gaps.
Swiss philanthropy plays a key role in sustaining a model built on accountability, collaboration, and measurable outcomes.
